1. Definitions
In these terms, “we” and “us” mean SEO Company UK. “You” means the business that buys our services. “Services” means the SEO, GEO, website, hosting, email and related work described in your proposal or plan. “Agreement” means these terms together with your proposal or plan.
2. Our services
We provide the services set out in your plan or written proposal. Our current plans are:
- All-in-One: a website, local SEO, custom domain email and hosting for £180 a month
- Local SEO: from £500 a month
- National SEO: from £900 a month
We start work as soon as you agree your plan. New websites are typically live in under 7 days, depending on how quickly we receive your content and feedback. If you ask for work outside your plan, we’ll agree the scope and price with you in writing first.
3. Fees and payment
- We invoice monthly in advance. Your first invoice is issued when you agree your plan.
- Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
- If an invoice is late, we may charge interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, and we may pause work until the account is up to date.
- We’ll give you at least 30 days’ written notice of any price change.
4. Contract term and cancellation
Every plan runs month to month. There is no minimum term. Either of us can end the Agreement by giving 30 days’ notice in writing, and email is fine. You pay for work up to the end of the notice period.
We may end the Agreement straight away if you don’t pay an invoice within 30 days of a reminder, or if you seriously break these terms.
5. 90-day money-back guarantee
On the All-in-One plan, if you’re not happy for any reason within 90 days of your start date, tell us in writing and we’ll refund everything you’ve paid for the plan, with no questions asked. The guarantee applies once per business and does not apply to the Local SEO or National SEO plans, which you can cancel with 30 days’ notice at any time.
6. Your responsibilities
To get the best results, we need you to:
- Give us access to your website, Google Business Profile and any other accounts we need, and keep that access in place
- Send content, feedback and approvals promptly, usually within 5 working days
- Make sure that anything you give us, such as text, images and logos, is accurate and that you have the right to use it
- Tell us about changes to your business, such as new services, opening hours or locations
If delays on your side hold up the work, timelines move with them.
7. Results and guarantees
Search engines and AI tools decide their own results and change how they work without notice, so no honest agency can promise a set ranking, position or number of enquiries. We promise to do the work in your plan carefully, to follow the guidelines Google publishes, and to report clearly on what we did and what changed.
8. Intellectual property
Once the invoice for the work has been paid, you own the content we write for you, such as pages, articles and Google Business Profile posts. Your domain name is registered in your name and is always yours. If you leave the All-in-One plan, we’ll give you a copy of your pages, images and written content and help move your domain and email to a provider of your choice.
Our own tools, templates, methods and reporting systems stay ours.
9. Confidentiality and data
We keep your business information and logins confidential and only use them to deliver the Services. Personal data is processed under UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of liability
These terms don’t limit or exclude our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Apart from that, our total liability under the Agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue or business, or for indirect losses, including losses caused by changes that search engines, AI tools or other third parties make.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll give clients at least 30 days’ notice of any change that affects them, and you can cancel within that time if you don’t agree.
12. Governing law
English law applies to these terms, and any dispute will be heard by the courts of England and Wales. Questions? Contact us.
