General
What does SEO Company UK do?
We help UK businesses get found on Google, Google Maps and in AI answers from tools like ChatGPT. That covers technical fixes, content, links, local SEO and GEO, on rolling monthly plans. See all our services.
Do you only work with UK businesses?
Yes. We only take on businesses that serve UK customers, because UK search, UK places and UK buying habits are where our experience lies.
What size businesses do you work with?
Anything from a single shop or practice to companies selling across the UK. The All-in-One plan suits small local businesses that need a website, Local SEO suits established local firms, and National SEO suits businesses competing UK-wide.
Can you work alongside our in-house marketing team?
Yes. We can take on the SEO while your team handles social media, email or ads, or we can coach your team to do some of the work. Your strategist will agree who does what at the start.
SEO & GEO
What’s the difference between SEO and paid Google ads?
Paid ads put you at the top straight away, but you pay for every click and the visits stop when you stop paying. SEO takes longer to build, but the visits it brings in don’t cost you anything per click. Many businesses use both, with ads covering the gap while SEO grows.
Should my business have a blog?
A blog earns its place when it answers questions your customers really ask. A handful of useful, well-written articles does more than a weekly post written for the sake of it. If you don’t have time to write, our content service can do it for you.
Does social media help my Google rankings?
Likes and followers don’t move your Google rankings on their own. Social media can still help by getting your business seen and talked about, which can lead to reviews, links and more people searching for you by name.
Why have my rankings dropped?
The usual causes are a Google update, a change to your website, a new competitor or a fault on the site, like pages accidentally blocked from Google. The fix depends on the cause, so the first step is finding it. Our free audit will usually show what’s happened.
Pricing & contracts
What are your SEO prices?
All-in-One costs £180 a month, Local SEO starts at £500 a month and National SEO starts at £900 a month. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes, on the All-in-One plan. If you’re not happy within 90 days, we refund you in full, no questions asked.
Do you charge extra for reports or calls?
No. Your monthly report and your calls with your strategist are part of every plan. There are no hidden extras.
Working with us
What happens after I get in touch?
A strategist replies within 1 working day to book a 15-minute call. We then review your site and send you a free plan in writing, with a set monthly price. There’s no obligation to go ahead.
Will I keep access to my Google accounts?
Yes. Your Google Business Profile, Search Console and Analytics accounts stay in your name, and we’re added as users. If you ever leave, you remove our access.
How do I give you access to my website?
We’ll send a short checklist once you sign up. It usually means adding us as a user on your website and your Google accounts, so you never need to share your own passwords.
